We are delighted to announce that Tobias Ringborg, the acclaimed Swedish violinist and conductor, will be joining us on Islay again this year. His astonishing work with us last year led to one of the best festivals ever, and we are thrilled that he will join us on Thursday 12 July at Ardbeg playing Schubert’s Rondo in A for solo violin, and on Friday 13 July in Bruichladdich Hall where Vivaldi’s Four Seasons is bound to be a highlight of the week.
For the first time ever, we are visiting Jura this year, with a recital on Friday 6th July at 1pm in the Jura Care and Community Centre, Craighouse. Tickets £5 at the door.
We are again very much indebted to Martine Nouet who has arranged for the Whisky Tasting to take place in Islay House Hotel at 3.30pm on Wednesday 11 July. Tickets can be ordered directly from Martine (). Tickets £20.
A reminder, too, of our short recital of lighter classical music in the Rhinns Hall, Portnahaven on Thursday 5 July 8.00pm, Tickets £7 at the door.
