2017 Whisky Tasting

We have some good news about our regular Whisky Tasting event.

Our very good friend and supporter, food and whisky writer Martine Nouet, has arranged another Whisky Tasting afternoon, and this year it is to be held on Wednesday 12 July at 3.30pm in Islay House. Martine tells us she has also been able to obtain some very exclusive whiskies to taste. This is sure to be a very popular event. Tickets cost £20 each and can be booked directly by contacting Martine at . Martine will introduce and describe four different whiskies and the music will be provided by Cantilena musicians.

International conductor and violinist Tobias Ringborg to play at Cantilena 2017

We are thrilled to announce our 2017 Programme which includes performances by internationally renowned conductor and soloist Tobias Ringborg playing Kreisler, Bach & Franck. We will also be joined by six young professional musicians from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland who will play with the ensemble and also demonstrate their skills in a Student Showcase concert in Laphroaig Distillery.
